Customer Churn Rate (short: CCR) is a Key Performance Indicator that descibes the company’s loss of customers within a defined period of time. The Customer Churn Rate shows the loss of customers in per cent compared to current existing customers.
A lost customer is defined as a customer who does not buy products or services of the company any longer.

Why this is interesting for a Chief Digital Officer (CDO)?
Often you want to measure the performance of an organization or a project. KPIs are suitable for this. Since the digital world is data-driven, KPIs are very important for measuring success. That is why this is essential for Chief Digital Officer (CDO).
