Digitalization barometer
The digitalization barometer is – based on an analog barometer – a measurement to determine the degree of digitalization. Thus it is a synonym for the digitalization index.
Futher synonyms are digital barometer/DigitalBarometer, digital transformation barometer. Or for the industries e.g. industry 4.0 barometer, retail 4.0 barometer, logistics 4.0 barometer, etc.
Why this is interesting for a Chief Digital Officer (CDO)?The Digital Mindset is the basis of every digitization. In principle, the rules of the game are completely different from those in the industrial world. Chief Digital Officers (CDOs) definitely need this mindset and must distribute it throughout the organization.
