HighTech companies are companies that focus their product and service solutions on industries that are characterized by new and rapidly changing technologies. There are very different companies that call themselves HighTech companies, no matter whether they are small, young start-ups or large corporations. All of these companies have in common that they recognize and take advantage of the changes that are entering the markets as a result of technological change or that they incorporate these changes into their business models as added value. This happens with these companies even before this technology becomes the standard on the market. HighTech companies are therefore extremely good and quick at recognizing the possibilities of technological progress and using them as opportunities for themselves.
