A Key Performance Indicator (short: KPI) describes the success of entrepreneurial activities or measures that can be determined. Depending on the objective, activity or measure to be tested, different KPIs are used for the evaluation. On the basis of the assessment of the KPIs, the company can get an overview of the degree to which objectives have been achieved, but it can also provide information on where there is still a need for action and how processes can be optimised.

Why this is interesting for a Chief Digital Officer (CDO)?
Often you want to measure the performance of an organization or a project. KPIs are suitable for this. Since the digital world is data-driven, KPIs are very important for measuring success. That is why this is essential for Chief Digital Officer (CDO).
