Revenue streams are a component of the Business Model Canvas. This component makes a statement about the financial resources that a company can take through its customer groups/customer segments. In order to optimize or increase these revenues, it makes sense for the company to have certain information in the various customer segments. For example, it is essential that the company knows which values are important for the customer and what the customer’s willingness to pay looks like with regard to this value. In addition, it is also good to find out what customers are paying at the moment and what the desired amount is that they would like to spend on the corresponding product or service.
