A Wearable or Wearables are electronic devices/hardware that can be worn on the body. Wearables can be used to track transaction data, for example. This transforms the analogue world into a digital, measurable world. This is one of the basics of digitalization. It is therefore a kind of A/D converter.

Why this is interesting for a Chief Digital Officer (CDO)?
Well, one of the foundations of digitalization are the devices. So classical computer hardware is also a topic for Chief Digital Officers (CDOs). Especially in regards to enable the analogue world to the digital world. This may happen in terms of Wearable, IOT, etc. .
