Open Innovation is a term that describes the idea management methodology for creating something new and innovative. The ideation process is completely transparent and open in order to get feedback very quickly. This methodology is very common in Silicon Valley. A lot of people say, this is one of the key success factors of the Valley. The counterpart of Open Innovation is Closed Innovation.
