Smart Everything
The term Smart Everything describes the increasing networking of both digital and physical objects, processes, building complexes and infrastructures. Through the networking among each other and the possibility of mutual communication, everything is called smart. This networking is primarily due to the Internet of Things (IoT).
Networking continues to progress and includes more and more areas. The consumer area, e.g. through smart clothes, but also the entire private life with smart living, smart grid and smart homes. Entire industries and entrepreneurial processes are changing and are producing e.g. Smart Maintenance, Smart Farming as well as a change in the way people work at Smart Workplaces – to name just a few examples. People’s everyday lives are undergoing a smart revolution in every respect.
