The term accelerator is often used in context of startups. Accelerators are corporates that support startups with consultation and trainings. Often they do also provide workforce or technical or strategic knowhow. Sometimes they offer also so-called demo-days where startups can introduce themselves to various investors. Young companies can profit from this support and are able to accelerate their business development process. But often accelerators do only support startups for a defined period of time. By looking at accelerators there can be found several analogies to incubators but these terms can not be used synonymously.
