The term incubator is often used in context of startups. Incubators are created by corporates to support startups. They provide optimal conditions so that young companies can develop themselves in the right way. Especially for startups who have not that much financial ressources can this be a helpful support. Services of the corporates include for example consultation but also the provision of rental space, infrastructure or other supporting services. Sometimes can Incubators also help by entering networks, that are relevant for the appropriate industry. Startups that are supported by Incubators have a higher chance to survive at the market. By looking at incubators there can be found several analogies to accelerators but these terms can not be used synonymously.
