A Content Delivery Network (short: CDN) is a term in cloud computing. It is consisting of servers that are distributed spacially and connected via the internet. Content Delivery Networks are used to share content and other large files. Especially, it speeds up the loading times of websites.

Why this is interesting for a Chief Digital Officer (CDO)?
Cloud is one of the pillars of the digital revolution. Business and IT services can be provided very easliy by this. That is the reason why it is important to a Chief Digital Officers (CDO).
