Transmittion of subtasks that are usually managed by the company’s internal employees to voluntary people who are not part of the company. Often these volunteers are found with the help of the internet. There can be seen a connection between crowdsourcing an outsourcing because in both cases you can find a transmittion of internal tasks on external people. Crowdsourcing is implemented with the objective to solve tasks better, faster and on a lower level of costs.
