RegTech describes the digitalization in the field of regulatory (short: REG): Reg + Tech = RegTech.

In order to develop new business models, the use of the Business Model Canvas is recommended.

Why this is interesting for a Chief Digital Officer (CDO)?
Regulations in the digital age should be ideally automized. In order to achive this, regulation uses technology. Therefore regulation + technology becomes RegTech. So RegTech can improve the life of a Chief Digital Officer (CDO) very much.
